Broken is how I felt when I contacted Ilga.

I was married for 20 years.  We had a nice marriage, we never really fought, we were respectful to each other, we had a nice home, nice kids, we traveled, and everything seemed fine.  Four years ago he had a mild stroke, it changed everything.  On February 13th, my husband told me he didn’t love me anymore.  One month later he said he was leaving.  I thought he was leaving for the night but he never came back home.  I assumed we would work things out and go to counseling.

I was so distraught I didn’t want to get out of bed, I was drinking too much and all I did was cry.  One of my sisters came to my house to make me get out of bed and made me eat.  I went to work and as soon as my shift ended I went into my manager’s office and fell apart.   I would have panic attacks in my car and begged my daughter to come talk to me.  I consider myself a strong person and it takes a lot to make me cry.  My poor kids saw me cry all the time.  They didn’t know what to do to help.  Our house was very sad.  This went on for about 6 weeks.  I didn’t know what to do or where to turn.

I decided to have a session with Ilga.  I was a bit skeptical at first but she was very calming.  Her space was clean, uncluttered and not kooky.  I was very comfortable and her space had very zen like feel to it.  She didn’t waste time and started the session quickly.  She cut right to the chase and told me exactly what was going on and how I should move forward.  I never felt rushed and she put the session on a CD for me to refer to later on.  I never thought “Where did she get that”?  or “I’ll have to give that some thought to figure out what she’s talking about”.   She was specific, thorough, and caring.  I have seen her 2 other times since then and after writing this I’m going to schedule another appointment.  I like the sessions with her because she’s helped me cope and gave me tools to give me hope.

I highly recommend Ilga for anyone looking for some answers and some guidance.  She has reasonable prices and she’s a very nice woman.  She’s very comforting to be around.

Thank you Ilga for all that you have done for me.
